There is an unpaved service road between the house and the lake which is used to access the other houses on the east side of the lake. We have installed a new dock which has plenty of room to sit and supervise young children. Alternatively you can sit on the deck of the house and oversee the dock from there. After a wonderful day of water sport nothing beats a barbecue right on the deck overlooking the lake. We provide a new propane grill for your convenience. In addition to proximity of Mt Snow, there are many trail networks for snowshoeing or cross-country skiing close by, or hiking in the warmer months. The charming town of Wilmington is just 3.5 miles away with restaurants, shops, grocery, library, etc. West Dover has a movie theater in addition to many restaurants and ski shops. Timber Creek is known for their great job grooming cross-country trails. The house is set up with solar panels, but is on the grid. Heat and stove are propane. The roads in the area can be snow-covered in winter, and the driveway is on the steep side, so a 4 wheel drive (or AWD) and snow tires are necessary for visitors to the house. There is single car parking at the road if you wish, in which case the walk uphill to the house is about 200 yards if you park there. Minimum rental of 2 nights during the season.

There are 2 bedrooms with new Queen bedroom sets and mattresses on the main floor. The loft sleeps 6 with 1 Queen and 4 twin beds. Kids love the giant “sleepover” feeling of the loft while parents are comfortable downstairs. We provide linens and towels. Additionally, there is a sleeper sofa in the Livingroom. The house also has 2 separate living rooms making it ideal for the kids to play board games and watch a movie while the parents relax uninterrupted in the second Livingroom. In the summer it is wonderful to gather around the outdoor bonfire and make s’mores after a nice hike. We provide firewood for your convenience. In the winter the house heats up really quickly and we have a large gas fireplace in the main Livingroom that is perfect after a fun day of skiing at nearby Mt Snow. You will love relaxing on our brand new leather power reclining sofas after a day on the slopes. If downhill skiing is not your thing you can try snowshoeing on the frozen lake or there are many Cross country trails that you can try. In the Summer we have a selection of water toys for your enjoyment. We have 2 kayaks, 1 paddle board, 3 floating chairs and multiple inflatables. You will have difficulty getting the kids out of the water as they have so much fun. In addition to swimming off our private dock you can also walk to the Town of Wilmington beach . There is an unpaved service road between the house and the lake which is used to access the other houses on the east side of the lake. We have installed a new dock which has plenty of room to sit and supervise young children. Alternatively you can sit on the deck of the house and oversee the dock from there. After a wonderful day of water sport nothing beats a barbecue right on the deck overlooking the lake. We provide a new propane grill for your convenience. We are constantly striving to improve our property for your enjoyment. The house has recently had fresh paint throughout, remodeled bathrooms, new mattresses, new propane grill and new paddle board.
